A fun-filled day for the whole family to celebrate and learn to care for our beautiful Earth. There will be activities for everyone and a wonderful, varied programme of talks throughout the day in the Education Room.

Climate Stewards invite us to participate in Carbon Fast 2026. Billed as a Lenten fast, it is of equal interest to those of other faiths, or none, who wish to take greater care of the environment and people. Activities can be split up and practised at any time of the year.

A fun community event at the Haslemere Community Orchard, Swan Barn, the wassail this year is on 16th January, 6-9pm. Everyone is invited to gather to bless the trees with song and a torchlit procession. There will be a bar, with cider made from our own apples, and hot stew (cash only) and wassailers will need to bring their own empty flask. There will be live music throughout the evening from local musicians. Sturdy waterproof footwear (it WILL be muddy!) and warm clothing advised.
